  • Where impractical to set the monument in the ground, one of the following methods may be substituted:

    A. Utilize a table containing a minimum of 1,000 cubic inches on concrete and brass or bronze cap marking the actual corner point;

    B. Drill a hole and anchor the monument in bedrock;

    C. Drill a hole and anchor the monument into boulder with a minimum size of three cubic feet.

    Should the point for a corner be in a place which would be impracticable to the monument, witness corners shall be set in a safe place on the survey boundary line or have two reference monuments set.
