§ 2.68.030. Discrimination

No person may be appointed to or removed from city office, or be in any way favored or discriminated against with respect to city employment because of his or her race, religion, color or national origin, age, physical handicap, sex, marital status, changes in marital status, pregnancy or parenthood, unless the reasonable demands of the position require such distinction.
