§ 2.76.020. Performance evaluation

  • A. Department heads shall be responsible for counseling employees and informing them of unsatisfactory performance. Employees who are performing in a superior manner should also be informed in writing of their job performance. Reports of unsatisfactory or superior performance shall be documented by memorandum for inclusion in the individual's personnel file.

    B. Department heads shall be responsible for performance evaluations done annually for all employees other than probationary. The probationary employees performance evaluations shall be done within the first 90 days and at the end of the probationary period.
