§ 6.04.040. Impoundment

A. Any dog chasing, harassing, injuring or otherwise disturbing wild game shall be impounded immediately by any law enforcement personnel or private citizen.
B. If, upon notification by the city of a violation of section 6.04.030, the owner or possessor of a dog fails to correct the situation, the city shall have the right to impound the animal.
C. In the case where a dog has been found to be dangerous to the public, rabid or has physically harmed a person, the city shall immediately impound the animal.
D. The city shall have the right to destroy any animal covered in this section.
