§ 9.28.040. Display; fire chief's permission required

  • The fire chief of the city is granted authority to grant permission to any person to give a fireworks display for special occasions or reason (Fourth of July and New Year's) within the corporate limits of the city under the supervision and in the manner designated by the fire chief of the city, but no such demonstration or display shall be given without first securing permission from the fire chief of the city and establishing to his satisfaction that the same will be conducted in a manner which will protect the safety of all persons watching the same and the property in the immediate vicinity.
